Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Whippany, New Jersey. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations and grow within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Oversee purchase orders and match them with corresponding invoices.

• Administer timely check runs, ACH payments, and other disbursement processes.

• Maintain effective vendor relationships to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

• Generate and analyze accounts payable reports to support financial decision-making.

• Conduct account coding and ensure proper allocation of expenses.

• Utilize advanced features in Microsoft Excel, such as V-Lookups and Pivot Tables, to organize and analyze data.

• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounts payable workflows and improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and account coding.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check run procedures.

• Strong analytical skills to generate and interpret financial reports.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.

• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday in Whippany, New Jersey.

• Experience with systems is preferred but not required.
