Description
We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting for our organization based in Shrub Oak, New York. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting principles, payroll management, and financial process optimization. The Controller will play a key role in driving efficiency and ensuring compliance with financial standards.

Responsibilities:
• Manage inventory accounting processes to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Oversee high-volume invoicing operations, maintaining precision and timeliness.
• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions to optimize cash flow.
• Administer payroll systems, including ADP, to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
• Lead the month-end close process, preparing reconciliations and finalizing financial statements.
• Develop and deliver board reporting and annual financial reports to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and monitor financial data effectively.
Requirements • Proven expertise in inventory accounting and financial management.
• Demonstrated experience handling high-volume invoicing operations.
• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems, particularly ADP.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and financial reconciliation.
• Ability to generate accurate board reporting and annual financial documentation.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and other financial software.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations.
