Echocardiographic Technician (Sonograph),EchoDepartment

Job Type:full-time,DayShift

Under the general guidance of the physicians/providersperformsechocardiograms.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

* Receives patients, explains method ofprocedureand makes sure patient is comfortable.

* Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.

* Operates ultrasound/electrophysiology/cardiac stress test equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound/electrophysiologic/cardiac stress test exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.

* Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.

* Keepsaccuraterecords,helpswith scheduling of theultrasoundandkeepspatient flow smooth.

Graduate of a Program in Discipline or equivalent is required
