Robert Half is working with a highly reputable client in Northampton, MA, to find a motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join their growing team. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and build the foundation for a successful career in accounting and finance. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing financial reports and documentation. Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain accurate and organized financial records in compliance with company policies. Collaborate with team members on special projects and audits as needed. Stay up to date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates and candidates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or SAP is a plus). Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.
