Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager specializing in systems to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills to oversee projects related to inventory forecasting and supply chain optimization. The role involves working with AI-powered tools to streamline inventory management processes and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation of predictive inventory planning systems, utilizing AI-based forecasting tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze historical sales data, seasonality trends, and supplier lead times to recommend optimal stock levels.
• Oversee the deployment and integration of NETStock software within the organization.
• Foster strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and resolve any resistance to forecasting initiatives.
• Provide training and guidance to team members, acting as a superuser for inventory management systems when necessary.
• Extract and analyze data from servers to trace historical trends and support decision-making processes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
• Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) to align forecasting with financial goals.
• Utilize Sage 100 to support supply chain and inventory management initiatives.
• Drive agility and adaptability within the team to meet evolving business needs. Requirements • Proven experience in project management, particularly in systems implementation and supply chain optimization.
• Strong knowledge of inventory forecasting tools, including AI-powered software.
• Familiarity with NETStock software or similar inventory planning platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across departments.
• Hands-on experience with Sage 100 and other related systems.
• Background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) or demand forecasting.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments.
