Starting Pay: $21.53/hour
Schedule: Full - Time | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
_Must have Open Availability including Weekends and Holidays_
Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly? Join our team at the Holiday Inn Portland Airport, where your skills will help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest.
What You’ll Do:
As a **Maintenance Technician** , you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our hotel in top shape. Your day-to-day will include:
+ Performing scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas
+ Responding to work orders from guests and staff with efficiency and professionalism
+ Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and appliance issues
+ Maintaining and servicing pool systems, landscaping tools, and grounds equipment
+ Refurbishing furniture and fixtures, including painting and minor carpentry
+ Keeping outdoor areas clean and safe year-round
+ Supporting a safe and secure environment by following all safety protocols
What You Bring:
+ At least **6 months of maintenance experience** (hotel experience a plus!)
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Certifications in **HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing** are a bonus
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, and stand for long periods
+ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
The Holiday Inn Portland Airport is conveniently located near Portland Airport and features 284 guest rooms, 9,000 sq. ft. of event space and dining in our Latitude 45 Degrees Restaurant and Lounge.
