Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Controller to join our team in Natchez, Mississippi. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and contributing to the organization's financial stability. Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with US GAAP standards.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize financial resources.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to guide decision-making and business strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial challenges and opportunities.
• Ensure timely completion of audits and resolve any discrepancies identified.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting and financial reporting.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports in accordance with US GAAP standards.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain internal controls.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial data interpretation.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
