We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This position involves contributing to a software system built with React, Java, and Spring Boot, focusing on enhancing its functionality and performance. The role is fully remote and will require availability for approximately 4-5 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new features for an existing software platform using React, Java, and Spring Boot.

• Enhance the web user interface (UI) with additional features and ensure seamless integration with backend systems.

• Create and optimize backend functionality to support new web UI features within the established framework.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality code and maintain system performance.

• Test and debug software components to ensure reliability and efficiency.

• Adhere to best practices in software development and application security.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve functionality.

Requirements • Extensive experience with React for developing dynamic web user interfaces.

• Proficient knowledge of REST APIs and their integration.

• Solid understanding of Java programming and related concepts.

• Practical experience with Spring Boot, including controllers and data transfer objects (DTOs).

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must reside and conduct work within the United States.
