    Description

    We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia. This role involves managing accounting functions related to real estate and job costing, as well as general accounting and property management activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records while supporting team collaboration and compliance.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Implement revenue generating control systems

    • Process accounts payable/receivable transactions

    • Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Balance Sheet Reconciliations

    • Monthly Journal Entries

    • Sales and Use Tax

    • Code and process invoices

    • Consolidating financial statements

    • Ensure compliance with GAAP

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    • 4+ years of GL, balance sheet reconciliation, and payroll experience

    • Commercial real estate and/or construction industry experience preferred

    • Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.

    • Strong Job Costing expertise

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

    • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
