As a **Security Professional - Screening Patrol - Logistics Site** in **Halethorpe, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and guests, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.

+ Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to screening and access control.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with inquiries and directions as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents observed during screening operations.

+ Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to maintain a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location.

+ Participate in emergency response activities as required by site protocols.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
