    Examples of Duties

     

    + Brings the City of Tigard’s story to life through graphic design in collateral, digital images, graphics, signage, reports, branding and more.

    + Provides a uniquely creative outlet to develop visually-compelling art for web, print and multimedia platforms.

    + Offers opportunities to grow professionally by learning new design software, tools, and platforms in a collaborative, creative environment.

    + Serves as part of the citywide Communications team, supporting graphic design needs for all city departments, programs, events and functions.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

     

    + Equivalent to a 2-year college degree in graphic design or graphic communication in addition to at least

    + One year of full-time work experience in a design environment or equivalent experience.

    About this position: This position is 36 hours per week.

    Schedule:

    + Full time position, either Mon-Fri or Mon-Thurs.

    + A mix of on-site and remote work is available, but this person is expected to be on site at least one full day per week per the City’s remote work policy. Monday is the preferred on-site day.
