    About this Role

     

    Taylor's Construction is hiring Flagging Foreman to lead on-site flagging teams to implement traffic control plans and ensure public and crew safety. This role coordinates crew activities and supports compliance with regulatory and project standards.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Direct daily flagging activities on site and ensure plan adherence

    + Communicate with site supervisors and coordinate with other contractors

    + Monitor traffic flow and adjust flagging operations as needed

    + Maintain and inspect flagging and safety equipment

    + Train new flaggers on safety protocols and traffic patterns

    + Complete daily reports and incident documentation

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + 3+ years in flagging or traffic control roles

    + Strong communication and decision-making skills

    + Familiarity with MUTCD guidelines and work zone safety practices

    + Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

    + Active flagger certification (state-specific as applicable)

    + Comfortable working in all weather conditions and standing for long periods
