    Oracle Retail Tech Lead

     

    Cognizant Technology is seeking an **Oracle Retail Tech Lead** who could join our team of Engineering professionals in a permanent role.

    Job Description:

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    1. Application & Integration Support -

     

    Lead L2/L3 incident management, batch monitoring, root cause analysis, and data fixes across Oracle Retail modules like RMS, ReSA. Ensure 24x7 coverage for critical issues and 20x5 desk support for routine operations 1.

     

    2. Technical Oversight-

     

    Provide techno-functional guidance on Oracle Retail systems including RMS, and Retail Sales Audit.

     

    3. Team Leadership & Coordination-

     

    Act as the primary onsite escalation point, coordinating with offshore teams and client stakeholders.

     

    Oversee support handover, knowledge transition, and documentation for ongoing operations.

     

    4. Process Optimization-

     

    Drive incident reduction, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

     

    Implement standardized ITIL-based processes and SOP-driven resolutions.

     

    5. Client Engagement-

     

    Interface with clients to understand business needs, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.

    Required Qualifications:

    1. Have expertise both technical and functional in Oracle Retail Applications.

    2. Oracle Retail Version 13x to 16x or above.

    3. Have hands-on experience in AutoSys - CA, Unix, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, ODI Administration, and ODI.

    4. Technical Expertise

    • 12–18 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Retail modules such as RMS, ReSA

    • Strong command of SQL/PLSQL, Unix scripting, Oracle Forms, and Pro*C

    5. Functional & Support Skills

    • Proven ability to lead L2/L3 support, incident resolution, and performance tuning

    • Familiarity with retail workflows, item lifecycle management, and merchandising operations

    6. Integration & Migration Experience

    • Experience in data migration, API configurations, and ETL/ETF tools like ODI for integrating Oracle Retail with legacy systems

    7. Leadership & Communication

    • Prior experience as an onsite lead in large-scale Oracle Retail engagements

    • Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

    8. Certifications & Training

    • Oracle Retail Cloud certifications are highly preferred.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
