Now Hiring: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg and Tele (Neuro Cardiac Unit)

Schedule: Day and night shifts (630-7); every weekend and every other holiday rotation; 48-hour schedule possible

Duration: 13 weeks

**Important:** Applicants must reside **50 miles or more** from zip code 47630

Key Responsibilities:

+ Deliver direct patient care in alignment with established protocols

+ Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

+ Experience with post cardiac caths with interventions, CVA/TIA, ICD, complex abdominal surgeries, and oncology.

+ Floating is possible to 2 other local hospitals

Qualifications:

+ Active RN or compact license in Indiana

+ At least 1 travel assignment completed and Level 2 Trauma experience required

+ Minimum 2 years of Strong Tele/Med/Surg experience required

+ BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required

+ Dysphagia Screen and Strong Neuro assessment skills are required

+ Travelers required to pass a Tele test

+ Must have experience to initiate and titrate drips (heparin, insulin, cardiac, etc.) heart cath recovery (fem. & TR bands) and have strong critical thinking skills

+ Prefer experience with NG/PEG tubes, PIV Insertion, Tikosyn doing, and chest tubes

+ EPIC experience is required

Pay Breakdown:

+ $1,062 per week (taxable)

+ $1,246 weekly per diem (non-taxable)

**Pay Details:** $2,308.00 per week
