    Adecco Permanent Recruitment is working with a client, a locally established & well respected commercial real estate firm, that manages a portfolio of commercial properties. Our client is hiring a **Junior Property Accountant** to manage **commercial projects** onsite in their Honolulu, Hawaiian office - working hours are Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.     Immediate hire – must be able to start within 2 weeks.

     

    • Role Overview:

     

    The Junior Property Accountant will be responsible for full-cycle accounting across a portfolio of 5-10 commercial properties. This role focuses on generating monthly financial statements, tenant billing, budgeting, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Properties range in complexity from single-tenant sites to high-traffic shopping centers with dynamic lease structures.

     

    • Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budget variance reports, and supporting schedules

    + Manage monthly billing statements and tenant charges

    + Handle budget planning, bank reconciliations, and cash projections

    + Perform annual budget and CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations

    + Monitor and follow up on delinquencies, and support property managers with reporting

    + Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting procedures

    • What We're Looking For:

    + 3+ years of accounting experience (commercial property experience a plus)

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (basic to intermediate formulas)

    + Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    + Quick learner with high attention to detail and a humble, collaborative attitude

    + Familiarity with Yardi software is a plus, but not required
