Job Title: Sr. Integration & Test Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Integration & Test Engineer to support advanced software integration efforts in a mission-critical environment. This role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, possesses deep technical expertise, and is passionate about solving complex integration challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience with Kubernetes, software/hardware integration, and preferably MILSATCOM systems, including ground systems.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct software and hardware integration and test activities across complex systems.

+ Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.

+ Collaborate with developers and system engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues.

+ Develop and execute test plans, collect and analyze data, and define success metrics.

+ Support MILSATCOM systems, with preference for candidates with ground segment or Round systems experience.

+ Write and maintain scripts for automation and testing (Python, Bash, MATLAB preferred).

+ Use tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in integration and test engineering, ideally with both software and hardware.

+ Strong experience with Kubernetes, including navigating clusters and using kubectl commands.

+ Familiarity with Git-based version control systems (GitLab, Bitbucket).

+ Experience debugging with logs, CI tools, and containerized environments.

+ Ability to learn new systems independently and work with minimal supervision.

+ Must be located in or willing to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with MILSATCOM systems and ground segment development.

+ Familiarity with SATCOM architecture: space segment, ground segment, user terminals, uplink/downlink, and channels.

+ Scripting experience in Python, MATLAB.

+ Experience in reading and interpreting ICDs and working with SMEs to understand complex systems.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $185000.00/hr.
