    3rd shift Shift Supervisor

    Job Description

    The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the manufacturing line during assigned shifts. This role ensures production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team of line operators and technicians, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and coordinate activities of production line workers during assigned shift.

    + Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.

    + Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance as needed.

    + Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and compliance with company policies.

    + Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and incident logs.

    + Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other food safety regulations.

    + Lead shift handovers and communicate effectively with other supervisors and departments.

    + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food and beverage.

    + 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience.

    + Strong understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and OSHA regulations.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a food and beverage manufacturing facility, which is generally clean compared to many manufacturing environments. However, it can become dirty with flour and may be hot due to the ovens. We are seeking candidates for 3rd shift.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $31.86 - $41.67/hr.
