Job Title: Tooling Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to join our team on the 2nd and 12 hour non rotating night shift. This role is crucial in working directly with mold and die sets, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. The position offers a highly competitive starting salary based on experience, with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and maintain motors, pneumatics, hydraulic equipment, and production machinery.

+ Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and operation manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

+ Utilize precision measuring devices and testing instruments to ensure equipment accuracy.

+ Perform die casting and machining tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency.

+ Conduct regular maintenance and repair of molds and dies, ensuring optimal performance.

+ Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and resolve technical issues.

Essential Skills

+ At least 4 years of experience in die casting or machining.

+ Proficiency in mold tooling and troubleshooting techniques.

+ Experience with die setting, die casting, and die maintenance.

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and operation manuals.

+ Familiarity with precision measuring devices and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in mold repair and tool and die maintenance.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

This position is on the NIGHT shift with a schedule of 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off from 5 PM to 5 AM. The work environment includes working with advanced technologies in a toolroom setting. Safety and collaboration are prioritized, and employees are encouraged to contribute to process improvements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $79040.00/yr.
