    Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **RN - ICU Surgical and Neuroscience** to work at a facility in **Albany , NY.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.

     

    **Pay Rate:** $70 / hour

    *W2

    Shifts Available:

    + 7am-7pm

    Qualifications:

    + **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - ICU Surgical and Neuroscience**

    + Ability to build rapport with patients

    + Compassionate and caring demeanor

    + Familiarity with medical terminology

    + CPR card issued by the American Heart Association

    + Must have up to date certification in the state of **NY**

    + ICU at least 2 years level one trauma center

    Responsibilities:

    + Monitor and assess critically ill surgical and neuro patients

    + Perform frequent neurological and vital sign checks

    + Administer IV medications, drips, and pain management

    + Assist with ventilators and other life-support equipment

    + Provide wound care and post-operative monitoring

    + Prepare patients for surgeries or procedures

    + Collaborate with surgeons, neurologists, and the ICU team

    + Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery

    + Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

    + Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions

    + Ensure infection control and patient safety at all times
