    Overview:

    We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual to be the welcoming face of our corporate headquarters. This role starts at the front desk, greeting guests and managing incoming calls, and offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time customer service position. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to meet you!

    Key Responsibilities

    Front Desk Operations:

    + Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and welcoming manner

    + Answer and direct incoming phone calls

    + Manage front desk tasks including mail, packages, and general inquiries

    Customer Service Support:

    + Assist with customer service emails and order follow-ups

    + Enter and update order and shipment information in customer-specific portals

    + Monitor EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions for accuracy

    + Generate and maintain customer reports

    + Provide proactive updates on order and shipment status

    + Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, sales, manufacturing) to ensure timely order fulfillment

    + Act as a backup for the customer service team during high-volume periods or PTO coverage

    Administrative Support:

    + Perform data entry and maintain organized records

    + Support various administrative tasks as needed

    Qualifications

    Must-Haves:

    + 1+ year of front desk or receptionist experience

    + 1+ year of office-based customer service experience (manufacturing industry experience preferred)

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    Nice-to-Haves:

    + Experience with ERP systems

    + Prior order entry and data entry experience

    + Familiarity with customer portals and EDI systems

    Soft Skills

    + Detail-oriented and organized

    + Strong multitasking abilities

    + Proactive and self-motivated—comfortable seeking out tasks during downtime

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Professional demeanor and positive attitude

     

    Experience Level: Entry-Level

     

    Growth Opportunity: Potential to transition into a full-time customer service role

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $41600.00/yr.

     

    We do offer 401k, however, company does not match.Medical, dental, vision, basic life, voluntary life, STD – all first day of employment.Company contributes to part of the medical, dental, vision. Offers an employee only medical plan at no cost to employee.Company also covers 100% of basic life for a $25,000 policy.PTO and 8 paid holidays after 90 days.Medical is through BCBS / PPO.Dental, vision, life, STD through MetLife.Each employee also receives:$50 net for Birthday$50 net for Thanksgiving
