Sandblaster

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring **Sandblaster** for the surface preparation of parts and metal in the **Kansas City area** . The pay range is **$20-25 per hour** based on experience. All industrial sand blasters are scheduled 40+ hours a week. All work is in shop. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

Ultimate Job Duties

+ Quality Craftsmanship

+ Surface preparation of various metal substrates

+ Cleaning surfaces

+ Maintain tools & equipment

+ Maintain a clean and safe work area

+ We blast with aluminum oxide and mineral medias, glass bead, and walnut media. If you have not blasted with these materials, we can train you. Because Teflon is a thin-film coating, the surface preparation requires our Blasters to be capable of prepping the various metal substrates with a consistent, light blast profile. Ideally, have the experience and knowledge of how to adjust the blasting equipment.

+ Masking parts as required by clients.

+ Shipping/receiving operations including operating a forklift

+ Packing and shrink-wrapping parts

Ultimate Trade requirements

+ Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)

+ Must have basic hand tools to perform trade

+ Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance

+ Background Check Required

+ High school diploma or nationally recognized accredited equivalent.
