Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the OhioHealth Foundation Philanthropy and Operations team with donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities, including events, and/or research, writing, and formatting donor requests and reports.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Assists Foundation colleagues with donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship projects, ensuring remarkable experiences for prospective, new, or returning donors to OhioHealth.
Assists Foundation colleagues with searching for funding sources, researching, and analyzing new grant opportunities.
Working with Foundation colleagues, identifies opportunities, and implements projects that reinforce commitment to impeccable customer service throughout the donor cycle.
Working with Foundation colleagues, assist with writing new grants, writing proposals, coordinating existing grants, reporting to grant funders, and working on special projects.
Manage projects to educate about giving priorities, request support for those priorities, and share gratitude for gifts in creative and unique ways.
Facilitates strategic, appropriate, and timely use of gifts, and consistent, accurate reporting on gifts and donor funds. Assists Gift Processing team with donor communication and gift clarification as needed.
Provides support for special projects and Foundation events.
Builds relationships with donors to identify opportunities to increase ongoing engagement with OhioHealth care sites and programs, and the OhioHealth Foundation.
Assists Philanthropy Team with personal outreach to annual giving/special giving donors to express gratitude, build relationships and encourage additional engagement and giving.
Drive novel programs to cultivate new relationships and reinforce gratitude for annual and special gift donors to further personalize the OhioHealth giving experience.
Assists with events, administrative and other special projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
+ Philanthropy principles and community engagement practices.
+ Data analysis and ability to generate reports, charts, and graphs through excel and/or other database solutions.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse audience, including active listening skills.
+ Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or other similar databases.
+ Excellent written communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
+ Strong time management skills.
+ Use critical thinking to problem solve.
+ Flexible approach and a willingness to work on other duties as assigned, based on department priorities.
