Job Description
BAE Systems Jacksonville Ship Repair is hiring a highly skilled rigging and crane Craft Manager. The applicant will be responsible for overseeing Riggers, Transportation and Crane Operators and assigning work on multiple projects during a workday and weekends as needed and monitoring progress onboard vessels and docks.
The selected candidate will ensure that appropriate actions are taken to support the timely and cost-effective completion of assigned tasks. Oversees the rigging shop supervision involved in all phases of project performance, personnel functions including hiring, force reductions, promotions and demotions. Ensure compliance and enforcement of company policies, procedures. Must have a working understanding of critical lifts and Navsea standard items along with Coast Guard and ABS rules and regulations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
12 Years with HS
10 Years with AA
8 Years with BS
6 Years with MS
+ Must be able to obtain DBIDS to access Mayport Base facility.
+ Knowledge of effective supervisory, methods and technique s
+ Effective Communications and Written skills to include computer skills
+ Ability to plan, layout schedules and supervise the work in an affective and cost efficient manner
+ Knowledge of cranes and critical lifts
+ Previous supervisory experience in the rigging shop
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
NCCCO Certification /NCCER Certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $105835 - $179920
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
