Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, the Financial Writer develops and delivers client-facing investment content across various platforms, including commentaries, brochures, and digital materials. This role balances creativity with compliance, ensuring materials meet regulatory and brand standards. Responsibilities include content research, writing, editing, and coordinating with internal teams to support strategic product and marketing efforts. Projects may require originality and problem-solving, with regular interaction across departments to clarify messaging and align with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
+ Create and edit high-quality content including investment commentaries, product brochures, white papers, client emails, web copy, and educational materials tailored for retail, intermediary, and institutional audiences.
+ Collaborate with investment professionals, product managers, and marketing teams to translate complex financial concepts into compelling, accessible narratives.
+ Work in partnership with compliance stakeholders to ensure all materials adhere to regulatory and brand guidelines.
+ Contribute to editorial strategy efforts, including topic ideation, content calendars, and integration with broader marketing campaigns.
+ Support writing quality across the team by applying consistent tone, style, and accuracy standards.
+ Monitor financial markets and industry trends to generate timely, relevant, and insightful content.
+ Conduct research using internal platforms and trusted external sources to inform and enrich written materials.
+ Optimize digital content for web and mobile platforms, ensuring engaging user experiences and SEO effectiveness.
+ Review layouts and messaging to ensure alignment with brand identity and visual storytelling.
+ Assist with performance tracking, helping analyze content impact across different client segments.
+ Manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
+ Perform additional duties as needed, contributing to the broader goals of the marketing and product communication teams.
Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Journalism, Communications, English or related field and a minimum five (5) years of professional writing experience in a financial planning, investment management or other financial services environment preferred.

+ Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
