We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in driving operational excellence. Pay: $30-$35/hr
Contracted role
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage daily operations of the TCI purchasing team, ensuring smooth procurement of materials, services, and supplies to support production schedules and customer demands.
+ Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
+ Manage the full procurement cycle including requisition processing, purchase orders, and vendor records.
+ Identify and evaluate suppliers for material availability, pricing, lead times, and long-term partnerships.
+ Maintain and update pricing databases and lead time logs to optimize purchasing decisions.
+ Ensure contract and purchase order compliance with company policies and procedures.
+ Conduct market and delivery analysis to forecast and mitigate supply chain risks.
+ Assist in developing and refining procurement policies, contract terms, and sourcing strategies.
+ Support resolution of supplier issues including claims, disputes, and performance concerns.
+ Administer and maintain digital purchasing platforms and procurement systems.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree required; preferred focus in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
+ Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
+ Proven negotiation and vendor management experience.
+ Solid understanding of procurement systems, supply chain standards, and best practices.
