Position Summary:
Our insurance client is undergoing an acquisition and has engaged SolomonEdwards to support HR Transformation Project Management efforts. This consultant will help drive initiatives involving HR data, people, processes, and technology. This role requires close collaboration with external consultancy firms and systems integration partners, serving as a representative of the client’s internal HR or technology team. The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience within HR domains and excels in managing large-scale transformations and acquisition integrations.
Essential Duties:
• Drive complex, cross-functional enterprise HR transformation projects.
• Maintain project scope, schedules, resources, and documentation.
• Lead and influence project sponsors, stakeholders, and core teams.
• Develop and maintain Epic and Feature roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
• Break down Epics into Features and user stories; track progress and changes.
• Conduct risk assessments, manage escalations, and provide regular updates.
• Serve as liaison between corporate and divisional stakeholders.
• Manage third-party vendors and system integrators.
• Support organizational change management related to HR initiatives.
• Protect confidentiality and manage sensitive HR data effectively.
Qualifications:
• 7–10 years of progressive project/program management experience.
• Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean frameworks.
• Experience with HR transformation and M&A integration projects.
• Knowledge of core HR functions: talent acquisition, compensation, HR operations.
• Skilled in Agile tools: Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in collaboration tools: Smartsheet, Planview, MS Teams, SharePoint.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
• MBA or PMP certification.
• Experience with Workday or Global HCM systems.
• Background in management consulting or strategic project delivery.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $60 – 80.
