_Job Description_

+ _We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with robust experience and proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers within a multi-cloud environment. You will play a vital role in engineering solutions and maintaining compute and storage infrastructures, delivering efficiency through automation, and ensuring scalability, flexibility, and compliance._

_Primary Responsibilities_

+ _Systems Administration_

+ _System administration tasks for Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 8 including regular platform upgrades, vulnerability management, troubleshooting, automation with native scripting languages, performance management, application inventory and administration, and compliance to regulatory baselines._

+ _Development and execution of deployments using infrastructure-as-code and usage of DevOps pipelines to operate cloud-native services and deployments._

+ _Administer the lifecycle of SSL certificates and associated infrastructure and domains._

+ _Manage and test data backups and disaster recovery policies._

+ _Active Directory_

+ _Manage human and system identity lifecycles including onboarding, offboarding, role management, just-in-time privilege escalation, and regular access reviews._

+ _Implement, update, and regulate group policy and identities in Active Directory and Azure EntraID in conjunction with the Enterprise Access Model._

+ _Network Infrastructure_

+ _Implement highly available network architectures and manage network security and network routing in a hybrid-cloud environment._

+ _Manage IP based access rules, network address sourcing, and CIDR whitelists/blacklists._

+ _Collaboration_

+ _Communicate effectively and promptly with DevSecOps teams to implement appropriate cloud-native solutions and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the system and network infrastructure including diagrams, configuration details, and operational procedures._

+ _Participate in in-house training programs to foster and spread knowledge and awareness to project teams, promote and empower decision making, and manage incident reports._

+ _Identify and implement cost-saving improvements and operational efficiencies over the lifespan of projects and resources._

_Basic Qualifications_

+ _Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field and 4+ years experience in managing server environments. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree._

+ _Proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux Server operating systems, role services, and application management._

+ _Proficiency with Active Directory forest and domain architecture and management._

+ _Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity and server hardening concepts, implementing regulatory requirements and security policies with templates, group policy, scripts, and/or custom solutions._

+ _Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and implement network connections, firewall and port rules, routing tables, and/or DNS record and resolution management._

+ _Demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure tasks._

+ _Demonstrated ability to independently isolate and resolve problems._

+ _Self-starter that can work independently while possessing the communication skills to work effectively with software development teams and customers._

+ _Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to self-manage work tasks using M365 based tools._

+ _Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development._

+ _Ability to obtain public trust clearance._

_Preferred Qualifications_

+ _Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar field._

+ _Cloud or security related certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, and Certified Information System Security Professional._

+ _Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, or Azure EntraID._ Demonstrated proficiency in implementation and enforcement of regulatory compliance and governance controls.

+ Demonstrated proficiency in administration of Azure Entra services including connected applications, policy enforcement, conditional access, and key management.

+ Demonstrated proficiency in implementing network routes, VPNs, DNS, and NSGs.

+ Demonstrated ability to automate resource provisioning using cloud native tools.

+ Demonstrated ability to independently isolate and resolve problems.

+ Self-starter that can work independently while possessing the communication skills to work effectively with software development teams and customers.

+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to self-manage work tasks using M365 based tools.

+ Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

+ Ability to obtain public trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar field.

+ Experience with Google Cloud Platform.

Position Details:

+ Pay Rate / Range: $45.81- $50.81

_The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions._
