Ensure the consistent performance and longevity of equipment and systems by applying engineering principles and analytical techniques. This role involves assessing maintenance and machine data, identifying potential failure modes, and implementing preventive measures to enhance operational efficiency. The Reliability Engineer is dedicated to improving product quality, reducing maintenance costs, and minimizing downtime, ultimately contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
+ Analyze failure data, maintenance history, and equipment performance to improve reliability strategies and reduce downtime.
+ Lead root cause analysis initiatives, track corrective actions, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues.
+ Develop and refine preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to extend asset life.
+ Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize spare parts inventory and reduce lifecycle costs.
+ Provide technical coaching to maintenance staff, ensuring best practices in reliability and asset care are implemented.
+ Create and strategize a 3–5-year capital equipment roadmap.
+ Oversee the installation of new equipment and establish the necessary preventive maintenance procedures.
+ Lead and Participate in Improvement Workshops (Kaizens).
+ Interface with other departments to address and resolve manufacturing issues.
+ Maintain a safe and organized work area (5S).
WHO YOU ARE
• 5-10 Years experience in new product development
• Proven track-record managing large, multidiscipline project schedules.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• PMP or PMI certification
• Extensive knowledge in product design and verification techniques
• Ability to maneuver in CAD, Pro-Engineer preferred
• Statistical and predictive experience with tools such as DOE, DFSS, FMEA
• Basic knowledge of control systems, sensors and instrumentation
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or comparable additional experience.
+ Two (2) years of experience working in a Reliability role
+ Perform as a self-starter to drive continuous improvement efforts in areas of responsibility.
