High School / Middle School Complex

Approx. 9:00 am - 3:15 pm

Salary:

$19.08 / hr per SRP Contract

Duties:

+ Work with students on a one to one basis, in small groups, and/or in a classroom setting

+ Assist with transitions so that students participate in classroom activities

+ Provide physical assistance to students

+ Supervise students and perform other services as determined by the teacher and principal

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; or four years of experience and knowledge where specialized duties are involved

+ Ability to work with student(s)

+ Patience in dealing with students with disabilities

+ Good communication skills

+ Empathetic but able to positively motivate students to do well

Qualifications Desired:

+ Teacher aide experience preferred

+ SCIP training preferred
