    PROGRAM OVERSIGHT

    + Direct the day-to-day operations of the TRIO Student Support Services office.

    + Collaborate with academic departments across the University providing various workshops and services for disadvantaged students.

    + Guide long-term development of TRIO to ensure its yearly operations are in line with the grant objectives and university missions.

    + Establish a strategic direction, develop and implement student academic support initiatives, programs, and seminars; monitor and assess program effectiveness.

    + Measure and analyze the success of the SSS programs and services to determine necessary program modifications.

    DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS

    + Oversee the program data base: compile data, design, and prepare reports on all student participants.

    + Assess programs and services offered by SSS. Obtain and review statistics related to the targeted student population such as FAFSA completion, financial aid, academics, tutoring services,and adjust programming accordingly to enhance student success.

    + Monitor and report on all program activities for compliance with federal and University regulations.

    FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

    + Review budget and formulate budget strategies.

    + Identify, recommend, and implement program modifications to accommodate programing needs and budget variations.

    + Monitor annual expenditures and access future department and programing costs.

    + Work with the Department of Education on federal grant budgets.

    + Identify and raise external resources to support TRIO initiatives.

    STAFF MANAGEMENT

    + Lead, collaborate, assign, and review work of staff to ensure group objectives are met.

    + Hire, train, develop, and manage staff to ensure qualified personnel meet group objectives.

    OTHER DUTIES

    + Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned by the TRIO Executive Director.

    + Collaborate and support the initiatives of the other TRIO grant funded programs as needed.

    Job Requirements:

    + Master's degree in counseling, education, student affairs, or a related field.

    + Strong communication and public relations experience.

    + Experience in working with disadvantaged (low-income, first-generation) populations.

    Additional Information:

    Salary Range: $55,300 -$56,000
