JOB SUMMARY: The SAP FICO BSA is responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to meet business needs. This role acts as a bridge between finance teams and IT, ensuring that SAP solutions align with financial processes, compliance requirements, and strategic goals. The BSA plays a key role in system implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives, providing both functional expertise and project leadership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional specifications.
+ Configure and support SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing) modules.
+ Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to streamline processes and improve reporting.
+ Lead or support SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
+ Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support go-live activities.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and incidents.
+ Document business processes, system configurations, and training materials.
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., MM, SD, HR) for integrated solutions
+ Lead or support SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues and incidents.
+ Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Work Experience
+ 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant in SAP FICO.
+ Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementations.
+ Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
+ Proven track record in requirements gathering, solution design, and end-user training.
+ Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, manufacturing) is a plus.
+ Proven ability to support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
+ Experience working in multi-entity, multi-currency environments with global finance teams.
+ Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional workshops, gathering requirements, and delivering end-user training.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
+ SAP FICO certification is preferred
+ Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations.
+ Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
+ Proven track record in requirements gathering, solution design, and end-user training.
+ Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, manufacturing) is a plus.
+ Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
+ Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
+ High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
