    Sodexo is currently seeking a **Food Service Manager 2** to join our team at the **US Marine Corps** at Mess Hall BB 125 **Sneads Ferry, North Carolina.** **Courthouse Bay** is a subdivision of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine\_Corps\_Base\_Camp\_Lejeune) and is home to the Marine Corps (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United\_States\_Marine\_Corps) Engineer School, 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion (https://www.trngcmd.marines.mil/Units/South-Atlantic/MCES/) , and the 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2nd\_Assault\_Amphibian\_Battalion) . Located near Camp Lejeune's southwestern Sneads Ferry (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sneads\_Ferry) gate, the sub-camp is largely self-sufficient, in that it has its own chow hall, post exchange (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base\_exchange) , MWR (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morale,\_Welfare\_and\_Recreation) recreation facilities, and water supply. The chow hall is open seven days a week feeding three meals per day, it feeds 1800 meals per day.

    What You'll Do

    + Oversee the food service program.

    + FOH & BOH oversight

    + Manage a team of 30

    + Some weekends and holidays will be required. Managers rotate

    + Menu planning & forecasting processes, and understanding of safe food handling practices, qualities, and standards (e.g. HACCP forms, temperature logs, safety audits, inventory management, etc.)

    + Comprehensive knowledge of Excel Worksheet usage and design

    + Point of Sale, cash handling, and reconciliation of cash drawer experience

    + Strong office organizational skills
