Job Description:
Job Description: This position is responsible for executing the strategic direction and managing the governance of partner companies/government entities who manufacture/assemble cross-drive transmissions under license for resale into the tracked armored combat vehicle market. In addition to managing existing Licensee relationships, this role will support a cross-functional team in the sourcing, evaluation, and development of new Licensee partners as the business grows to serve more markets.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Implements and supports the strategy development of licensing cross-drive products to partner companies and/or government agencies which will unlock new growth opportunities for Allison’s global defense business.
+ Manages the governance process for all cross-drive Licensees, ensuring compliance to Allison policies and procedures, while taking appropriate action to address violations.
+ Support leadership in the evaluation and due diligence of onboarding new licensee partners.
+ Engage and enlist the support of cross-functional team members (quality, product engineering, product planning, etc.) to ensure Licensee is successful in accomplishing the business objective and sales targets as set forth by Allison. Work proactively and collaboratively with global stakeholder groups to identify ways to improve the overall performance and effectiveness of Licensees.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
+ Ability to influence and interact with peers and subordinates in a professional, respectful manner.
+ Strategic mindset with an ability to synthesize large and complex programs to a comprehensive sales strategy.
+ Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills combined with excellent oral and written communication abilities in English.
+ Ability to travel internationally to the EMEA and APAC region to participate in customer engagements and assess market opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master of Business Administration.
+ Knowledge of Allison Transmission Business Systems, Processes and Management approach.
Travel Requirement:
+ Occasional travel, both domestic and international, when required to assess capabilities of Licensee and/or enforce governance provisions of the agreement.
+ Less than 15%
