    MACHINE OPERATOR

    Role Summary

    Our client is seeking a full-time Machine Operator experienced or willing to learn our business. This position is responsible for operating or assisting in a direct mail manufacturing environment with a focus on reduction in cost-related errors, exceeding client expectations, and driving a safe workplace.     Primary job duties

    + Operates and maintains equipment.

    + Performs adjustments on machine per job instructions.

    + Meets and exceeds production standards and maintaining customer quality requirements.

    + Communicates job status and production concerns/issues during shift change.

    + Follows all safety policies and procedures.

    + Adheres to all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    + Troubleshoots problems with minimum delay time.

    + Communicates with Management on any problems developing and corrective action.

    + Works with urgency when equipment is down to maintain production requirements.

    + Continues learning new and improved processes to achieve increased production.

    + Facilitates teamwork among team members and between shifts.

    + Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.

    Skills and Qualifications

    + 2 years of manufacturing experience (Preferred)

    + High school diploma or GED required

    + Able to lift and move 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally

    + Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours

    + Willingness to work overtime when needed

    + Ability to apply written and verbal instructions for machine set-up

    + Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members

    + Must demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality, and ability to stay in work area

    + Must be able to foster team cooperation
