The In-Vehicle Security Services (IVSS) team designs, develops, and maintains the underlying security infrastructure, PKI, applications, and tools supporting Connected Vehicle & Mobility features for Ford vehicle products.
What you'll do...
The IVSS team is directly engaged with the entire end-to-end solution for Connected Vehicle & Mobility features by providing key management/PKI and relative security services.
As the key management team for Connected Vehicle and Mobility Security, IVSS provides various security services built on the foundation and usage of cryptographic keys – such as encryption/decryption and signing services. Our infrastructure includes cloud web/API services and hardware security modules (HSM), as well as on-premises infrastructure with web/API services backed by our datacenter servers, HSMs, and in-vehicle PKI.
This position will involve development, enhancements and maintenance of our web/API applications supporting Connected Vehicle features, vehicle messaging, software updates, key management and provisioning. This involves development and deployment of solutions/services in on-premises servers and in the cloud, while managing their entire lifecycle.
You'll have...
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering or similar
+ 4 years experience in software architecture, development, methodologies and design principals including test-driven development
+ 4+ years proficiency in secure coding practices and software engineering/development experience in object-oriented programming, including but not limited to C++/C# or related languages, Java, .Net framework and/or .Net Standard 8+ 2 years experience with Identify and Access Management principles, and implementing access control methods in Web/API development
+ 1 year experience leading projects, working with business customers on requirements analysis and design/architecture decisioning to lead to developed solutions that are scalable, robust, and highly available / performant
Even better, you may have...
+ Web application and API development experience
+ Familiarity with industry security standards, such as NIST and OWASP
+ Google Cloud experience: CI/CD pipelines with Tekton, Terraform, implementation of Google Cloud services including CloudRun, KMS, MongoAtlas, SQL Postgres DB
+ Experience with Openshift/Kubernetes
+ Version control experience, preferably with Git
+ Strong software testing skills (unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, load testing) and automation of test cases
+ Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and strategies
+ Cloud technologies experience (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform)
+ Strong communication and analytical skills
+ Ability to lead a project, working with business customers on requirements analysis and design/architecture decisioning to lead to developed solutions that are scalable, robust, and highly availably / performant
+ Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation as required
+ Familiarity with in-vehicle network architecture, modules, and protocols (CAN, FNV2 etc.) are a plus.
+ Experience with MongoDB Atlas
