    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team, focusing on grades 7-12. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse learning needs and a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.     Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

    + Adapt general education lessons and materials to meet the varying needs of students.

    + Provide specialized instruction in small group and one-on-one settings.

    + Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.

    + Assess student progress regularly and revise teaching plans as necessary.

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.

    + Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and instructional strategies.

    Job Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

    + Valid state certification in Special Education.

    + Experience working with middle and high school students with diverse learning needs.

    + Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community members.

    + Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the academic and social development of students with special needs.
