    **Eligibility Requirement:** To qualify for the Manager, Actuarial Services role, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, have earned at least an ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) designation, MAAA, and possess a minimum of five years of actuarial experience.

    **Position Purpose:** Conduct analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes. Provide expertise and technical support in matters related to the successful and financially sounds operations of the company's **Medicare** businesses.

    In this Manager, Actuarial Services role, you will:

    + Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to calculate financial outcomes.

    + Support **Medicare** medical expense forecasting through analysis of pricing models

    + Assist in the development and certification of the Medicare bid submission

    + Develop and analyze data reports to identify emerging trends and gaps

    + Communicate financial results to both technical and non-technical audiences

    **Education/Experience:** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. 5+ years of actuarial, mathematical, statistical, scientific, financial analysis, reporting, data analytics, accounting, and/or underwriting experience. Previous management experience preferred

    **Licenses/Certifications:** Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (or equivalent international certification) required. Member of American Academy of Actuaries (or equivalent international membership) required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Background in **Medicare pricing** and **bid development**

    + Leadership or project management experience

    + Skilled in managing competing deadlines and translating complex data for non-technical audiences using strong time management, adaptability, and analytical skills

     

    Applicants may work remotely from anywhere within the Continental United States. To support business needs, ideal work schedule is EST, CST, MST time zones.

    Important Note:

    Pay Range: $132,000.00 - $244,100.00 per year

     

    Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
