What You'll Be Doing

+ Assist in the production and placement of hot mix asphalt using hand and power tools

+ Load, shovel, and move material manually or with equipment

+ Operate safely around heavy machinery and construction zones

+ Perform site cleanup and maintenance duties

+ Support teammates and supervisors with various labor-related tasks

+ Demonstrated ability to work safely in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment

+ Reliability and readiness to follow instructions and work effectively within a team

+ Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operations

+ Strong work ethic and ability to remain focused in varied conditions

+ Commitment to punctuality and task completion

Conditions of Employment

+ Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

+ Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

+ Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
