Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Security Engineer to join their team. As a Security Engineer, you will be part of the cybersecurity department supporting various application teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Security Engineer

Pay Range: 75-78 W2

What's the Job?

+ Provide support for the client Network configurations to ensure applications are configured to appropriately flow through the new CDN platform.

+ Assist application teams with troubleshooting, configuration, or updating CDN configurations for successful testing for onboarding procedures.

+ Serve as an expert in Web Application Firewall (WAF) security.

+ Support all WAF related activities to protect all external facing applications and potential new partners.

+ Provide CDN support for all external facing applications and potential new partners.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security or other IT related field or equivalent experience and/or certifications.

+ 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields.

+ Deep knowledge and understanding of network, systems, software, and security.

+ Ability to articulate technical concepts in both business and technical forums.

+ Experience in researching new technologies for WAF solutions and implementing recommendations.
