Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Telecommunications Attendant to join their team. As a Telecommunications Attendant, you will be part of the Operator Services Unit supporting faculty, staff, and students in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Telecommunications Attendant

**Location:** Palo Alto, CA

Duration - 3 months with possiblity of extension /conversion

What's the Job?

+ Act as the primary point of public contact to answer, process, page, and direct calls.

+ Provide directory listings and connect callers to the appropriate department, faculty, or staff member.

+ Dispatch medical emergency teams in response to critical alerts.

+ Utilize call center applications to ensure first call resolutions.

+ Participate in process improvement efforts and mentor co-workers in customer service skills.

What's Needed?

+ Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

+ Experience in a customer service or call center environment.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

+ Proficiency in using telephone and paging systems.

+ Willingness to participate in training and development initiatives.
