    Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, fast-paced individuals to fill Part Time Retail  Donation Attendant Position at our Bad Axe store located at 780 N. Van Dyke in Bad Axe.

     

    $13.00 an hour to start! Monthly Bonus Potential

     

    AND 20% discount on in-store purchases.

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    + Provide excellent customer service to donors, assisting them with donations in a friendly, professional, and safe manner.

    + Assist with customer/donor concerns, handling them professionally.

    + Record all donors and donations accurately on the Donation Tracking form; record all gaylords/items accurately on the Bill of Lading.

    + Assist with janitorial duties, maintaining the cleanliness in the backroom and on the sales floor.

    +  Maintain standard back room layout and orderliness to ensure efficiency.

    + Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts as assigned; Sunday – Saturday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Extra shifts may be required.

    + Must have the ability to travel to other locations.

    + Can you lift and carry 35 pounds?

    + Can you reach, bend or stoop?

    + Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?

    + Do you have a reliable means of transportation to report to work on time?

    + Ability to learn and utilize safe lifting techniques.

    + Ability to work in cold or warm temperatures, depending on weather and donation traffic.
