    Starr RegionalHealth and Rehabiscurrently seeking talent to fill the position ofOccupational Therapistfor ourNursing HomeDepartment.This job is permanent,PRN.

    Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

    * Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist usingappropriate modalities.Seeksconsultationas necessary.

    * Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress andpossible goalrevisions to the physical therapist.

    * Documentsservices provided and patient response/progress.

    * Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.

    * Assistswith patient discharge planning. Provides information regardingappropriate selection/useof adaptive equipment and community support programs.

    Minimum EducationAssociate’s of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy: □ Preferred X Required

     

    Required Licenses[Tennessee, United States] Occupational Therapy Assistant and Aide

    Current Occupational Therapist Assistance Licensure in State of Tennessee

    Required SkillsCertifications:The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:X Basic Life Support (BLS)
