Division: Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) – Robert Half

Robert Half is hiring an Inventory Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) team in Fort Worth. This is a W2, full-time consulting position offering a chance to work with a variety of clients across industries managing inventory systems, reconciliations, cost analysis, and reporting.

We’re especially interested in professionals with hands-on experience in inventory analysis, reconciliation, and manufacturing/wholesale environments—and Quantum software experience is a big plus.

What You’ll Do:

+ Analyze and reconcile inventory accounts across multiple locations or systems

+ Perform cost variance analysis and investigate discrepancies in quantities and valuation

+ Support cycle counts and physical inventory efforts

+ Prepare journal entries related to inventory adjustments, write-offs, and transfers

+ Assist with month-end close related to inventory and COGS

+ Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and finance teams on reporting and controls

+ Provide clean-up or support during ERP transitions or system stabilization

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

+ 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on

+ inventory and COGS

+ Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-heavy environments

+ Familiarity with Quantum software is a huge plus

+ Must be available for on-site work in the Fort Worth area

+ Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage, Quantum, etc.)
