Description We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will handle high-volume transactions while ensuring the timely collection of payments and fostering strong relationships with clients. This position requires expertise in both commercial and consumer collections processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily collections activities for commercial and consumer accounts.

• Ensure timely follow-up on overdue invoices and payments to reduce outstanding balances.

• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans.

• Review and analyze account histories to identify trends and prioritize collection efforts.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, update, and report on collection metrics and account statuses.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and improve collection processes.

• Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to collections.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections, with a focus on high-volume transactions.

• Strong knowledge of credit and collection processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to analyze account histories and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Familiarity with billing and payment systems.

• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and compliance in all interactions.
