Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry in Charleston, South Carolina. This role will focus on project accounting and technical aspects, with the opportunity to oversee two direct reports. A strong background in audit and financial reporting is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage project accounting functions

• Provide technical accounting support for complex business transactions

• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the management team

• Ensure compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS

• Manage and supervise two direct reports

• Work closely with the management team to improve financial procedures and systems

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a similar role within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry is essential.

• Advanced knowledge of Financial Reporting is required.

• Familiarity with IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds is crucial.

• Proficiency in US GAAP is a must.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• CPA certification is a plus.

• Experience with financial software systems is preferred.
