    Key Responsibilities

    As a Senior Accountant focusing on General Ledger, you will:

    + Manage the full-cycle general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.

    + Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the trial balance, financial statements, and supporting documentation.

    + Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

    + Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring they adhere to GAAP/IFRS requirements.

    + Review and clear account discrepancies by investigating documentation, consulting with clients, and making necessary adjustments.

    + Assist clients with implementing process improvements to streamline and enhance the efficiency of general ledger and financial reporting functions.

    + Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor requests.

    + Collaborate with teams across client organizations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, to ensure accurate financial reporting.

    + Lead general ledger system clean-ups, migrations, and integrations, as needed.

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

    + CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.

    + A minimum of 5+ years of experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting.

    + Proficiency with accounting platforms such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.

    + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).

    + Strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

    + Ability to manage priorities effectively in fast-paced client-facing environments.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with client stakeholders.
