    Description

    We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Administrator for a contract opportunity in the Fresno area. This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operations of a healthcare facility, ensuring smooth administrative processes and a positive patient experience.

     

    Type: Contract

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage front desk operations including patient check-in and check-out

    + Schedule appointments and verify insurance information

    + Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

    + Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately

    + Assist with billing and data entry as needed

    + Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies

    Requirements

    + Prior administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred

    + Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical terminology

    + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills

    + Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
