Description We are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney with expertise in civil defense litigation to join our accomplished legal team in Springfield, Missouri. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex cases, representing insurance companies, insured individuals, and corporate clients in both state and federal courts. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil defense litigation cases, including insurance companies, insured individuals, and corporate entities.

• Conduct in-depth legal research to craft compelling strategies and arguments.

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other litigation-related paperwork.

• Negotiate settlements and resolutions to achieve favorable outcomes for clients when appropriate.

• Manage case files effectively, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.

• Collaborate with team members to develop cohesive litigation strategies.

• Attend court hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions as required.

• Provide clear and concise communication with clients regarding case updates and legal strategies.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality throughout all case proceedings. Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in the state of Missouri.

• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a focus on defense litigation.

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong negotiation capabilities and ability to resolve disputes effectively.

• Experience with case management and legal billing software.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
