    Description

    Robert Half Technology is seeking an experienced and customer-focused IT Admin/Generalist to support a local startup client. In this role, you will provide Tier 1–2 technical support and play a key part in managing day-to-day IT operations. This includes everything from provisioning hardware to supporting cloud services and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, walk-up environment and have the opportunity to contribute to documentation and process improvements.

     

    Employment Type: 6-month contract (with potential for extension or conversion)

    Key Responsibilities:

    + License and provision computers, including coordinating laptop returns

    + Manage SSO through Okta and support software/application licensing

    + Ensure compliance and assist with internet connectivity issues

    + Provide hands-on support in an environment without a formal ticketing system (walk-up support model)

    + Manage user permissions and collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues

    + Support recent fiber optics infrastructure installations

    + Maintain clear documentation, including SOPs and user-facing How-To guides

    Requirements

    + 3–5 years of hands-on technical support experience

    + Experience providing Tier 1–2 support across hardware, software, and cloud platforms

    + Familiarity with AWS (cloud support)

    + Proficiency with Microsoft 365

    + Experience with Okta preferred; other SSO tools acceptable

    + Understanding of SOX compliance; Vanta experience is a plus

    + Strong customer service orientation

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when working with stakeholders

    + Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

    + Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities
