    Description Job Title: Part-Time Trust Accountant

     

    Schedule: 16 - 20 hours/week, flexible schedule

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Trust Accountant to manage and maintain trust accounting records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in trust or fiduciary accounting, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Maintain accurate trust account records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

     

    Reconcile trust bank accounts on a regular basis.

     

    Process deposits, disbursements, and transfers between trust and operating accounts.

     

    Monitor account balances to ensure sufficient funds are available for disbursements.

     

    Prepare monthly and quarterly trust account reports for internal and external stakeholders.

     

    Assist with audits and ensure compliance with trust accounting standards.

     

    Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial data.

    Qualifications:

    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

     

    3+ years of experience in trust accounting or a similar role.

     

    Familiarity with trust accounting software.

     

    Understanding of trust accounting principles and compliance requirements. Requirements Trust Account, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Trust accounting
